Welcome to the Harrogate Repair Cafe.
We have just celebrated our 1st Birthday - We had cake!
———
We run a monthly meeting where you can bring household items in need of repair and our wonderful volunteers will do their upmost to fix them.
At the meetings, we will triage all items, assess the difficulty of the task and identify any replacement parts or materials which may be required.
We may ask you to obtain these parts before we commence the repair
Once our fixers have completed the repair, all we ask is that you make a donation to our running costs, and allow us to take a photograph of the item with or without you in the shot.
We post these on our Facebook page to promote our success
———
As a country, we throw away far too much. Let's repair and recycle, and stop things from being binned!
———

Come and see us at the Friends Meeting House,
Queen Parade, Harrogate, HG1 5PP
———
